Process Technician

IMMEDIATE NEED: We are looking for a Process Technician located near Madison, WI. The Process Technician will provide support to direct manufacturing activities. This is in the form of repairing fixtures, secondary equipment, minor mold repair, storage of molds and fixtures, maintaining mold records, and mold/fixture preventative maintenance. This is a 2nd shift position that is 3pm-11pm M-F. All qualified candidates are encouraged to APPLY NOW. Pay will commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities for the Process Technician
Must be extremely proficient in every aspect of Molding Process.
Must be highly effective in trouble shooting all existing jobs, materials and secondary equipment.
Must be able to set up/test/document a brand new tool and materials to produce an acceptable product.
Must be able to perform scientific mold samplings and collecting all data and required samples for engineering and Quality Assurance.
Assist in process diagnosis and corrective actions (MRB's)
Must assist in providing mold, machine and fixture preventative maintenance as needed
Maintain fixture and secondary equipment in working order.
Requirements for the Process Technician
Strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems and controls is highly desirable.
Must be at a skilled mechanics level
Plastic injection molding and blow molding experience is preferred.
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting
Experience in automotive, industrial or consumer products is preferred.
