Job Description
Safely and efficiently operate various transport equipment throughout the plant. Routinely check and maintain equipment as needed.
Responsible for the receipt of supplied printed product. Assure accurate count verification through weight check and recording legibly and accurately.
Keep press area supplied with pallets and related materials. Move press delivered printed forms to Work-in-Process (WIP) area or packaging line as required. Perform verification that counts and load tags are accurate and correctly applied to pallets
Responsible for timely and accurate delivery and retrieval of materials, pallets, forms and other related miscellaneous items required in the Finishing production equipment.
Place pallets on packaging line, maintain adequate and accurate records to show pallet was received through the line. Assure quality application of packaging materials and make sure all identification markings are legible.
Assist Baler Operators in storing scrap bales and collect wastepaper containers off press and bindery machines.
Assist Product Control Analysts in organizing Work-in-Process (WIP).
Foster the implementation and use of TQM concept.
Promote working as a team and with other departments to build continuous improvement within RR Donnelley.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
Must be familiar and comfortable with Production Information Sheets and all shipping/receiving procedures.
Must be physically able to replace empty L.P. tanks on the lift trucks, and handle other parcels received or shipped by the Department.
Must be available to work day or night shift, 12- hour shifts and overtime scheduled.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year successful fork lift experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
