Our client is a growing foundry operation. They need a melt supervisor for their second shift operation.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma and 2
years foundry experience including melt operations and supervision experience
2. Must have experience with either cupola or electric melt
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
4. The ability to work with all levels of employees from new hourly hires to officers of the company
Duties:
1. Direct, plan and supervise all gray iron melting operations on second shift
2. Train staff, enforce safety procedures and work to improve machine processes and reduce scrap.
3. Serve as a conduit of information up and down the company hierarchy.
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and will cover normal relocation expenses. Sorry, no visa sponsorship is available.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
