Our client is expanding one of their shifts and they need to add a 3rd shift Molding Supervisor to their ranks. This is a world class foundry operation located near Baraboo. You will supervise molding and core operations by setting goals, organizing and assigning work, training employees, and maintaining a productive work environment in order to meet established production schedules. Ensure all safety, quality, and productivity processes and procedures are followed within areas of responsibility. This is a great area to raise a family.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree desired and 2
years of successful supervisory and foundry technology experience. They will be flexible on education if you have greater relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively coach, lead, motivate and develop people.
Developed problem solving skills with previous lathe, milling, and CNC machining knowledge

Responsibilities:
Supervise, plan, and coordinate molding/core operations on assigned shift to maintain production schedules, quality and cost standards, and maximize efficiency.
Ensure quality of work, efficient material and work flow, proper use and care of equipment and machines, and proper application of production methods.
Select and train employees in molding and core operations.
Evaluate work performance and counsel and coach employees to maintain safe and efficient work performance.
Organize and assign work to utilize employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities to the best advantage to expedite work schedules and obtain efficient work performance. Maintain close observation over operations, providing guidance to employees concerning proper foundry practices.
Maintain adequate supply of raw materials, production supplies, and tools to support continuous operations. Maintain related inventory records as required. Ensure tools and equipment is maintained in proper working order.
Analyze equipment, machine, or quality problems and production delays. Expedite repairs and/or corrective actions to minimize downtime and work schedule interruption. Supervise furnace maintenance activities such as shaving, relining furnaces, or replacing coils.
Prepare molding and core operating budget for assigned shift and administer and control budget during the business year.
Maintain open communication with employees and work with them to mutually resolve problems to enhance morale and promote a union-free environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
