Our client, a foundry operation, needs a Plant Electrical Engineer. Your primary duties will involve electrical maintenance and facilities projects
Requirements:
1. BS Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
2. 5
years plant experience in a foundry or other heavy industry
3. Must have strong PLC and programming experience.
4. Good project and computer skills
5. Strong troubleshooting abilities
6. CAD skills to the extent you can use them to layout electrical plans
Duties:
1. Spearhead automation projects using PLC and programming skills
2. Create electrical systems standards and PLC programs for new equipment
3. Ensure that all projects comply with electrical codes and regulations
4. New equipment installation
