Foundry Quality Manager with strong leadership skills is needed. Our client is a grey iron foundry and a major supplier to the automotive industry and they need a Quality Manager who will lead all Quality activities in this 700 person plant. This is a great area to raise a family.
Requirements Quality Manager:
1. Associates degree (bachelors preferred) and at least 5 years of strong quality experience in either a gray iron foundry or the automotive industry working with customers
2. At least 3 years of supervision experience
3. Experience with quality practices including APQP, PPAP, 8D and FMEA. They are also TS 16949 certified
5. You must be a career driven, goal oriented person who seeks to improve an operation. You must also be an influencer / change agent who can gain buy-in from other players in the operation
6. Experience leading a metallurgical laboratory would be great
Duties for Quality Manager:
1. Lead the entire team of 25 quality professionals (includes 4 engineers) to meet both company goals and customer needs.
2. Analyzing and recommending improvements that will increase product uniformity, stability and customer satisfaction
3. Work with customers to insure that quality standards are met.
The company will cover normal relocation expenses and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Sorry no visa sponsorship is available.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
