Our client needs both 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisors. They are a high volume automotive casting supplier and they are looking for a career oriented person. This is a nonunion shop. The position reports to the maintenance superintendent. Advancement opportunities exist for people that prove themselves.
Requirements:
1. Flexible on academics but excellent maintenance and leadership skills are needed
2. 5
years of successful maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment with at least some leadership responsibilities
3. Experience in a high volume, heavy industry. Preferably metals related
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Ability to effectively coach, lead, motivate and develop people
Duties:
1. Supervise 2nd or 3rd shift maintenance operations, with 20
team members, by setting goals, organizing and assigning work, training employees, and maintaining a productive work environment in order to meet established maintenance schedules.
2. Ensure all safety, quality, and productivity processes and procedures are followed within areas of responsibility.
3. Select and train employees in maintenance operations. Evaluate work performance and counsel and coach employees to maintain safe and efficient work performance.
4. Troubleshoot equipment or machine problems. Take appropriate corrective action to ensure equipment is repaired and returned to proper working order in a timely manner.
5. Assign completion of scheduled inspections and work orders according to the preventative maintenance schedule. Follow up on any items noted as needing corrective action.
6. Prepare maintenance operating budget for assigned shift and administer and control budget during the business year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
