Job Description
Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Uniformly jog and hand-palletize banded and loose signatures off the folder, adjust stobbs, and advise necessary personnel of pallet, banding and other supply shortages.
As a roll tender, prepare, mount and inspect rolls. Dependably operate splicer, accurately record roll usage and perform various web related duties during start-up. Change ink barrels and clean and maintain ink pumps as required.
Operate various folders within the pressroom.
During make-ready, wipe down blankets, change ink and perform clean-up on and around the press. Assist as needed in mounting plates/blankets, registering and perform maintenance on press equipment.
Foster the continual use and implementation of the philosophies and tools that are taught through our TQM Program. Promote the concept of working together as a team and with other departments to build continual improvement within the company.
Perform other related duties and overtime as required
Required Skills
OTJ-MAN
Must be able to work in an industrial setting that can reach high temperatures. Must have the ability to safely lift up to100 pounds
Required Experience
Recent work history of at least sixconsecutivemonths with the same industrial manufacturing employer
